Safeguarding
Grace Church Takes Everyone’s Safety Seriously.
Grace Church is involved with many activities for children and for adults with additional care and support needs at different times through the year. In addition to regular Sunday morning meetings in all our sites, our activities include, but are not limited to, events for the community, kids’ parties, social activities for adults with additional care and support needs and mid-week meetings of the church. Many of these meetings are face to face, but some are also run-on internet and video conference platforms such as ‘Zoom’. Digital and social media have become an increasing part of ministry with youth in the church and is therefore also covered in our policy.
As part of our responsibility to care for those in the church and the community, we have a number of safeguarding officers as part of our team. We also encourage anyone with any safeguarding concerns, whether for a child or vulnerable adult, to report them in confidence at their earliest opportunity.
For more information about our policy and approaches to maintaining safeguarding at Grace Church you can find our policy documentation through this link.
